Turn a Property Listing URL into a Video

A listing link is a starting point for a property video: it brings the photos and property details together. The useful work is choosing the story, checking the script and making sure the finished video represents the property accurately.

This guide uses two HomeDash examples to explain the listing-to-video workflow. They demonstrate specific outputs; they do not establish that every listing website, presenter option or language is available through a one-click app feature.

Start with a listing you are authorised to use

Keep the original listing open as your reference. A URL alone may not provide usable images or current facts: some pages require a login, restrict access or have changed since the photos were uploaded.

  • The listing URL and permission to use its photos and description.
  • Original, clear photos if the listing images are unavailable or too small.
  • Confirmed property facts: location, price, area and its measurement basis, room count and availability.
  • Your logo, preferred contact details, audience and intended publishing channel.
  • Permission and a separate setup step if the video will use a person’s likeness or voice.

How to turn listing materials into a property video

1. Choose the listing and collect the materials

Save the source link and select photos that show the actual property. For a HomeDash team-production enquiry, include the listing link and your intended output. In the app, use the input options available in your installed version; do not assume every property portal can be imported.

2. Write a short, factual story

Choose a few features the photos can support. A simple sequence is an introduction, the main living space, rooms or notable details, then your contact invitation. Verify every price, measurement and location claim against the source.

3. Prepare the brand and presenter

Decide how your name, logo and contact details should appear. If you want a presenter or a particular voice, confirm availability and setup before production. Gary’s Singapore pilot below used an existing presenter setup.

4. Review the scenes and narration

Compare the output with the original photos. Check room layout, windows, views, captions and pronunciation. AI-generated movement or imagery can introduce differences; correct or remove misleading scenes.

5. Export for the channel and review once more

Choose an output suited to where you will publish. Watch the exported file on a phone, check that captions and contact details are readable, and confirm that the listing information is still current before sharing.

Two source listings. Two actual video examples.

Open each original listing beside its video to compare the source materials with the output. These are examples of the workflow, not promises of identical results.

Gary’s pilot includes his AI likeness and voice, with his Singaporean accent. His presenter setup already existed; setting up a new face and voice is a separate step.

A practical check before publishing

Review the finished export, not only a preview. Check the facts and the visuals separately.

  • Facts: price, area, room count, location and availability agree with the current listing.
  • Visuals: rooms, doors, windows and views remain faithful to the source; conceptual staging is clearly identified.
  • Audio and text: names, local place names and numbers are pronounced and written correctly.
  • Brand and permissions: contact details are correct and permission covers the photos, face and voice used.

Questions about listing-to-video creation

Can I paste any property listing URL into HomeDash?

These examples show specific listing-to-video workflows, not universal portal support. Check the input options in your installed app, or send the source link with a team-production enquiry so we can confirm the workflow.

Can I make a video without filming the property?

The examples show how existing listing materials can be used in a video. The result depends on the photos, source information and selected workflow. It should not be presented as a filmed walkthrough if it is AI-generated.

Does this include my own AI presenter?

Presenter availability and setup depend on the workflow. Gary’s example used a previously prepared presenter. A new likeness or voice requires permission and separate setup.

How much does it cost and how long does it take?

App prices, credits and renewal terms are shown in the store and in-app screens. Team production and custom workflows are quoted separately. Confirm timing after the materials and required output have been reviewed.
